S P E N C E R   §   F L O R E N T I N O

Spencer is a bartender and the owner of a corner bar in the middle of Hell's Kitchen, called Sundown. A young, war-torn Agnes that left her days in the mafia behind approached Spencer in search of a job. At first, he refused, sending the fourteen year-old orphan girl away from the bar. Agnes hung around the bar for days, outside, waiting for a commotion to start. One did, and before Spencer had time to settle it, Agnes interfered. She broke a table and a chair, but the job was done, Spencer had underestimated her ability and paid her as the bar's bouncer...if she didn't break anything further. Agnes made enough earnings to rent the apartment just above the bar, then quit her job as a bouncer and started bounty hunting. Now she makes enough pay for rent and to help Sundown with its supplies. Spencer gives her meals and drinks for her contribution, but lately he's been concerned for her safety, even going as far as laying some ground rules when living above the bar. People who are truly close to Agnes know of Spencer, he knows all of her secrets and safeguards them well. He's her landlord, however to Agnes, he's a close friend and caretaker.

Spencer grew up in a large, wealthy family in Upper Manhattan, a middle sibling in a family of eight. Everything was swell, but what drew the attention of his family toward him was something Spencer has learned to hide extremely well, immense and merciless strength. As a child, Spencer ended up breaking his bones more times than not by his strength alone. As he grew older, Spencer's body grew more accustomed to his strength, now to the point where knives and tasers don't phase him. He's learned to control his anger, and therefore, learned to hide his strength.

S L A S H

Slash is a large, silver, purebred Maine Coon that was turned vampire. Agnes encountered him in an ambush, thinking she would be his next meal. Slash thought wrong, and had his ass thoroughly handed to him. Before he could run away, she pinned the cat to a wall and gave him a proposition. Agnes gave him credit for how well he silently snuck up on her, and offered to work as her informant, her little bird. In return, she would provide a meal for him, a lowly, unlucky civilian who was too drunk at Sundown or a man that seemed too forward in his advances toward women in dark alleyways. The feline agreed, and once a week would come to her with new information about "the climate" of the city. Although she sometimes treats him like a nuisance, Slash is a vital asset in keeping her up to date on what's been happening lately in the black market.

K I R S I / Y I N

Kirsi is a blind girl with an extraordinary gift. Agnes found her in an alleyway standing in a puddle after a storm with bare feet. The girl had a quiet voice, but she explained why and what she was doing. When made contact with water, Kirsi had the ability to locate a person, people, or objects anywhere in the city, so long as there was water nearby them. Kirsi was looking for her adopted older brother, but to no avail. Agnes took the opportunity to strike a deal with her, she would help Kirsi look for her brother if she helped in Agnes' bounty hunting. Kirsi joins Agnes on elaborate, large-scaled hunts, when it is absolutely unclear how many people are in the vicinity. Agnes doesn't make an active effort to find her brother, more or less, if she stumbles upon him. Agnes protects her for her purpose, no one really sees Kirsi with Agnes unless they're on a mission with her.
